______News______
=================
8-25-08: I've decided, this Friday I'll be submitting an experimental ambient track, mostly just to give Newgrounds something to chew on while I continue work on the remix of Reasoner's track, and One. It's that sequel to Temple I was talking about in my "Updated Daily" sectioin, though it really has almost nothing in common with it. It's a lot darker, and like I said, I experimented with it, so it may not go over well here. So watch out for a track named "Abyss" on Friday the 29th! ;D
--
8-24-08: Well, ReFX's support isn't working well. They insist there's no reason I could want to use Nexus2 separately from Nexus1, as apparently I would have no reason to collab with anyone with Nexus1... :I
And since they're not helping me, I still can't open any of my non-Nexus2-using project files. So this means no Unleashed (Club Mix) unless someone with FL8 Producer Edition, Nexus, the Dance Vol. 1 expansion, and VEC2 is willing to make one for me, and also no re-mixed versions of older tracks for future use. Oh well. :\
--
8-22-08: So, like I said, I'm announcing the track I'm remixing today!
...well, what are you waiting for? Scroll down. ;D
--
8-20-08: One is back as a WIP. I have literally nothing done right now and won't have the time to start it for a while, but I plan to at least try to have it done before 2009.
--
8-18-08: No news on the time I'll have left for music now that school's started. I already have only a little left compared to over the summer (duh :P) but it might end up becoming even less as the year progresses.
I'm officially announcing my remix (which really only means I'm letting everyone know which track I'm remixing) on Friday. Keep an eye out for it, you may or may not be surprised. ;)
--
8-16-08: Nexus2 is working, so I picked up the remix! I'll also be announcing the song I'm remixing soon. :D Copy-pasting from an old update about the Unleashed Single:
As for profits, I'm considering selling the CD for a profit now, but some of the remixers use their sounds/sequencers illegally, and since this is only my first single, it might not be worth it. Thoughts?
--
8-15-08: Everyone check this out, it's a preview (happy now Immune? >:( ) of xKore's remix. I haven't gotten a chance to listen to it myself (I'm on a computer that can't play sound right now), but I've listened to the full version and it's good. :P
Nexus2 came in, I'm having a bit of trouble installing it, but it'll be working soon.
Last thing, Mrmilkcarton and I started a collab, it's something to anticipate, believe me. :D No demos yet, and I'll add it to the WIP list later.
--
8-13-08: xKore finished his Unleashed remix! It's really good, so I said he could post a short NG cut - hopefully we can see that up in the near future. ;)
Remixers, make sure you're saving backups of your FLPs, you'll need to access them later to make extra-high quality renders for Nav's master.
As for profits, I'm considering selling the CD for a profit now, but some of the remixers use their sounds/sequencers illegally, and since this is only my first single, it might not be worth it. Thoughts?
--
8-11-08: Finished the drums (or at least I'm satisfied with them for now) in my remix. I'm going to be stopping it for now until Nexus2 comes in - I'm getting more new sounds with it, so I don't want to start any synthwork until I've got it and have become comfortable with its new features. ;D I'll pick it up once I am.
--
8-7-08: Really removed Drive from the Side Projects list this time, I forgot to last time. XD
I haven't started the remix yet, but I have finished the collab with FlamingFirebolt! He's on a vacation right now so I'll wait for him to come back before submitting it, but in the meantime I can send you the MP3 of what I've got to this point. ;)
Also, Nexus2 came out if you didn't already know, I'm getting it! :D
--
8-6-08: Removed Drive from the list of Side Projects for now, the X-Station's really difficult to work with... it might just be because it's my first time with a hardware synth and I don't know everything I should but it's hard in any case. ;)
In its place, I've added a new WIP, it's not titled for now, in fact, I'm keeping it a surprise. But trust me, if finished, it'll blow you all away just as much as the PoE remix did, if not, more. :D
Here's a hint for you all - it's piano Trance. Immune, you don't have to complain that I took One off the WIP list anymore. :D
--
8-5-08: I finally got the X-Station fully working! :D I'll be starting Drive today...
Also, for those who didn't notice, I submitted Beginnings. Enjoy. :D
--
8-4-08: Down to the very last problem now, of making sound on my computer. I did some research and apparently the USB cord (the only connection the X-Station has to my computer) only transfers MIDI information, not audio - I'd need to connect the X-Station's Audio Out to my computer somehow... I've got a few ideas that may or may not work, but I'm getting there. :) I have a feeling I'll be starting Drive very soon...
EDIT: I figured I should add something related to Beginnings here. :P It's coming along nicely and I think I'll be submitting it during the next few days. I've changed the melody and progression since the Incomplete version I submitted here, and instead of the two-peak version I was planning, I decided I'd go for one peak instead. This means less work, the song'll be out sooner, and I can save that amazing composition from the second breakdown for somewhere where it'll be more worth it. ;)
--
8-3-08: I made a breakthrough today, I can now sequence notes for the X-Station to play, and I've figured out how to record what the X-Station plays in FL! :D
The only problems? First of all, to record I've got to set the X-Station as my sound card so I can get it as an input option, but that means I'm sending sound from the X-Station (the synthesizer), to the X-Station, which causes some really weird and unwanted effects as the synth plays over itself. It's not something that goes away when I play the recording on its own, either. :\
Second, apparently I'm missing an audio driver for the X-Station, which is the reason why it's not making any sound on my computer in the first place... D:
I suppose it's up to what I can find on Google and Novation's website now... in any case, one more problem to fix and it'll be working!
--
8-2-08: Announced a WIP and a side project, check them out. ;) I've decided to pick up Beginnings, as it had real potential and I think I can get it done in a few days! Just be patient...
Still no luck with the X-Station, I'm not giving up though! ;D
Anyone want to be my 200th fan? ;D I've got 199 currently...
--
8-1-08: I GOT THE X-STATION! :D It works great as a MIDI Keyboard, only problem is, I can't:
1) Sequence notes for it to play (i.e. lay them down in the piano roll)
2) Record the synth's output to my computer (as the X-Station is a hardware synth as well as a keyboard)
If anyone can help with this, let me know. Thanks to Immune, Nav, and Pulstate for trying. :P

______WIPs______

Instrumental #4 (Karco's See The Light Remix)
- Progress: 5% Done. Currently putting together the elements of the track/starting the intro. So far, only the drums and bass are done, and the progression is semi-finished.
- Length: It'll be a full-length Trance track. No estimates yet.
- Submission Date: I'm estimating September or October. I've been very short on time lately, so this will take longer than my tracks over the summer did.
- Info: My first piano Trance song and a remix of Reasoner's great track! This could potentially blow you all away even more than the PoE remix did if everything goes to plan. So far, so good! ;D
- Demo: N/A
--
One
- Info: When time permits, I'll work on this track and update its section here.

_Unleashed - Single_
=================
Tracklist
Bold songs are finished.
Comments on each track are below the track in italics.
1. Unleashed (Radio Edit)
2. Unleashed (_______'s Club Mix)
- Since I can't access the project file anymore, I need someone (with FL8 Producer Edition, Nexus1, Nexus1's Dance Vol. 1 Expansion, VEC2, and VEC1) to make the club mix for me. Anyone up to it?
3. Unleashed (xKore Remix)
- The one that WAS on Newgrounds, but was removed. Awesome.
4. Unleashed (xKore Tech Remix)
- I'm using both, because they're both awesome. :P Find a one-minute preview here.
5. Unleashed (FlamingFirebolt's Chiptune Remake)
- This one's ALMOST finished, FlamingFirebolt just needs to fix a few problems.
6. Unleashed (Chilled Milkmix)
- Chilled Milk. XD This will be a Trance remix, to contrast with the many fast versions on the Single.
7. Unleashed (Pyroific Remix)
- No news on this one. I think it's about finished. :P
8. Unleashed (Mataro Remix)
- This one may or may not be on depending on how the final product comes out, it has potential, but the mixing's been so-so in each render he's sent me up to now.

Info
- Release Date: December 15th (Subject to Change)
- Demo: If you want to hear the original version, scroll up and click on it. ;)
- Profits: I'll be trying to break even this time around and get $0 profit, so I don't have to worry about getting money to everyone, who gets how much of the profit, etc. I'm considering selling the CD for a profit, but some of the remixers use their sounds/sequencers illegally, and since this is only my first single, it might not be worth it. Thoughts?
- How to Get: I'll have people pre-order it starting a month in advance until a week in advance, and I'll start delivering the CDs on the release date - I won't take orders after the release date though, as I'm trying to break even with profits and orders after release would mess it up. I'm not sure if I'll take orders over the internet from people I don't know in real life, I'll have to see about that. The release date is as much as 4 months away if necessary, so I've got plenty of time to figure it all out.
- Mastering by Nav

News
Now that I've got this many tracks, I will NOT be taking any more remixes, I think I've got enough as is. Unless you've got something that really wows me more than any of these other remixes (some of which are really amazing, believe me), or is radically different from the other styles, it'll definitely be a no.
Remixers:
1) Try to get your tracks done at least sometime in early November/late October, which is a while in advance from the current release date - this gives Nav time for the master, and anyway I prefer to have everything together a while in advance just to be safe and in case I forget anything. ;)
2) Do NOT upload any of your remixes to Newgrounds or anywhere on the internet. Also, don't share them with more than one or two other people for criticism. We need to be careful that no tracks get leaked - the Radio Edit and xKore's first remix are already publicly available anyway (though xKore removed his later). ;)
3) Make sure you can access and make renders from your FLP later! Nav will need extra-high quality versions for the master, so save backups. ;)
If I've missed something or someone, let me know.

___Side Projects___
=================
Mech
- Progress: 20% done, currently 1:00 long.
- Length: Not sure at this point.
- Submission Date: Not sure about this either, I'm not sure I'm going to finish it to begin with. If I do finish it, though, it'll be sometime this summer.
- Info: The idea for this started when I found a nice, thick bass synth, as well as a loop that went with it really well. I was originally going for a brutal industrial feel, but it went electro on me. XD
- Demo: IM me to get it for now, maybe I'll upload it somewhere later.

______Ideas______
=================
I made this section so people could see ideas that I've got for future songs, that I haven't started yet - this way they could suggest for me which songs to work on first. Check back here now and then, I add ideas as soon as I come up with them. ;) If you see an idea here that you like, let me know!
- Remix of OceanLab - Sirens of the Sea
- Remix of Forever, Floating Museum, Synthetic Melody Part 4, or Complexity of Life - They're all songs by Aeden.
- Deep, Maor-Levi style Trance
- Sequel to Contrast - Hard Trance, inspired by DJ Space Raven and Aurisgale
- Remix of Steel Frames - not endlessnumber's Sky Breaks style/genre, but trance. It's just got huge remix potential for me in its melodies. :P
- Rewind (Extended Mix)
